The Earnest Extendable Table brings new perspectives to the timeless Scandinavian wood table. The Earnest Extendable Table is EU Ecolabel Certified. By carrying the EU Ecolabel Certification, the product is guaranteed to have a reduced environmental impact throughout the total lifecycle of the product from raw material to disposal. Made from FSC™️-certified (FSC-C028824) wood, it features sculptural arched legs, a clear-cut profile, and a light expression tabletop. The table extends with manual apron pulls and a secure lock, all crafted in solid oak, seamlessly concealing its dual functionality. Available in two sizes, the smaller size comfortably fits 6 seats, expanding to 10, while the larger version accommodates 8 and extends to 12 seats — keeping the same shape once extended, with the extension leaves' wood grain going in a different direction than the table's, adding a unique touch. Pairs perfectly with all Muuto chairs.

Earnest Extendable Table - Extension Leaves

: Product Material
The extension leaves for the Earnest Extendable Table, which can be inserted into its ends, are made from FSC™️-certified (FSC-C028824) solid oak and are treated with either a clear or dark oil.; Oiled Oak
Oak is a traditionally Scandinavian material with durable abilities against factors such as water and fungi alongside a high level of strength, giving it long-lasting properties fit for furniture.

Care description
Clean often and carefully with a soft and dry cloth following the grain pattern. Periodically, clean with moist cloth. For long term care, it is recommended that the tabletop is treated 2-3 times a year with special oak wood oil on both top and bottom of tabletop that assists with making the wood resistant to stains and fluids. The wood should not be exposed to excessive humidity, heat or direct sun light.

: Upon receiving your table, we recommend that the tabletop, bottom, and base be treated with a special oak wood oil, improving its resistance to stains and fluids. We also recommend you continue caring for the product by repeating this treatment 2-3 times yearly. For products in Oiled Oak, we recommend using a tabletop oil with a small amount of white pigment, suitable for food applications*. For products in Dark Oiled Oak, we recommend using a smoked tabletop oil, suitable for food applications*.

Avoid placing the table within immediate distance of a heat source. Do not place hot or wet objects directly on the table; they can leave a mark on the tabletop. Metal objects can leave a mark if left on the table for an extended period. Spilling should immediately be removed to avoid discoloring. Clean the tabletop often and carefully with a soft, dry cloth following the wood grain pattern. The product should not be exposed to excessive humidity, heat, or direct sunlight. Store leaves separately.

*Muuto recommends contacting your local hardware store for advice on tabletop oils for indoor use.
